
Dr. Kamlesh Jha

Title: Use of fNIRS and qEEG as a novel tool of diagnostic utility in Pediatric Seizure Disorders
Dr. Kamlesh Jha is a Professor of Physiology and Head of the Neurocognition and Sleep Unit at AIIMS Patna, India. He also leads the Advanced Centre for Evidence-Based Yoga Therapy and Research at his institute. With over 17 years of experience in medical education and research, he has mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students while contributing extensively to neurophysiology. Dr. Jha has published 50+ original research articles in national and international journals, along with numerous review articles and book chapters. His research focuses on neurocognition in health and disease, yogic interventions in neuropsychiatric conditions, qEEG and fNIRS biomarkers, and the neurobiology of sleep. Beyond neurophysiology, he has a deep scholarly interest in Sanskrit language and literature.
