Dr. Allal Boutajangout graduated from the Free University of Brussels (ULB-Erasme Hospital), School of Medicine (PhD in Neuropathology). He completed his Postdoctoral training at New York University School of Medicine. He is a Res Associate Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience & Physiology. Co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Neurology Biomarker Core; and Chief of the Lab of Neurodegeneration and Drug Discovery Program, at NYU Grossman SOM. He received several prestigious awards, grant from Alzheimer Association, pilot NIH grant, and Co-Investigator in several NIH grants. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDr. Nadeau studied chemical physics and political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and achieved a medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. After one year of post-MD fellowship training with Kenneth M. Heilman, he has devoted his research career mainly to cognitive neurology and, in particular, to understanding how higher neural functions can be supported by actual neurons (computational neuroscience). He is currently Professor of Neurology at the University of Florida.
